| THE EPISTOLARIAN |
Hello Dear Friends,
This week, I leave for the French retreat in the Loire Valley. I will share what I can along the way.
In the meantime, enrollment is now open for the New York retreat taking place May 13–15, 2027. Below, you will find a few photo highlights from this year.
As the inaugural gathering of what feels to me like a very historic salon, one I intend to lead well into my later years as wax seals continue their evolution into a fine art form, I have been struck by the feeling of it. There was a rare kind of creative energy in the room, a joyful and seriousness at once, that makes me eager for us to meet again.
Because of how much I loved this year’s retreat, I have added an opening day. It will focus on the more intuitive side of letter writing and seals, a beginning that allows the work to take root more fully before moving into technique.
Next year’s theme is, quite simply:COLOR
Enrollment is now open for the May 13–15, 2027 session.
This three-day immersion unfolds across a series of half-day gatherings, each with its own rhythm and focus. A shared meal and a thoughtful afternoon offering accompany each day, along with all materials required for the work.

Three French Hens:2nd Edition
The highly sought-after Three French Hens have returned, now slightly larger to allow for greater richness in detail. Their darling feet, the champagne flute, the cake, and the fan all come forward more clearly, bringing a new sense of life to the design.
As this is a reimagined edition, just eleven have been released today, each reserved for the Collectors’ Register.

Three Graces: Back in Stock
The Three Graces Seal is back in stock, and there is also the version with the matching stationery as well.
Aglaia (Brightness), Euphrosyne (Joyfulness), and Thalia (Bloom), feel central to my work because they describe the rhythm I return to again and again: brightness as the moment something catches my attention, joyfulness as the experience of creating and sharing it, and bloom as what lingers and deepens over time; like the figures in The Three Graces, who exist in a continuous exchange rather than alone, I see my letters and seals moving through this same cycle.

In Case You Missed It: Elephant Seal For A Cause
It felt important to begin with the elephant. A matriarchal presence. A keeper of memory. A symbol of longevity and ancestral wisdom. These are the qualities these collections are intended to carry forward, not only in the intimacy of our letters, but into a shared consciousness.
This collection also marks the first charitable edition I have released. A portion of proceeds will support Elephants for Africa, whose work is dedicated to fostering human and elephant coexistence within rural farming communities in Botswana.
