It felt important to begin with the elephant. A matriarchal presence. A keeper of memory. A symbol of longevity and ancestral wisdom, all qualities these collections are meant to carry forward, not only in the intimacy of our letters, but into a shared consciousness.

This collection is also the first charitable edition I’ve released. A portion of proceeds will support Elephants for Africa, whose work focuses on human and elephant coexistence within rural farming communities in Botswana.
