In that spirit, I've kept this week's email quite short, but do stay tuned for a bigger newsletter next week. :-)
La Raison du Plus Force (The reason of the strongest)Many know the story of the wolf in sheep's clothing, but this a slightly different fable of Aesop's... One morning, a wolf comes across a lamb drinking from a stream. In order to justify eating the lamb, the wolf names one indiscretion after another. The lamb responds to each accusation logically, but in the end, the wolf doesn't care and drags the lamb into the forest anyway. The moral of the story is that the "reason of the strongest" doesn't necessarily follow reason. A tyrant will always justify their actions, even if there is no justification.
