Erin Go Bragh

Erin Go Bragh
| THE EPISTOLARIAN |

As I prepare for our St. Patrick's Day feast this Sunday, I'm also thinking more about Ireland and the excitement for the upcoming retreat in a mere 6 months.

I find myself eagerly anticipating the moments our small group will share against the backdrop of Ireland's enchanting West Cork coastline. In the coming weeks, I'll have a more formal invitation to the retreat, but I would love to hear from you if you are considering attending.

Erin Go Bragh

"Erin go Bragh," translates to "Ireland Forever." It embodies a sense of pride in the nation's heritage and a steadfast commitment to preserving its cultural identity and autonomy.

This phrase, which can also be found as "Éirinn go Brách," has historical significance in both political realms and cultural celebrations globally, most notably during St. Patrick's Day festivities. It captures the indomitable spirit and resilience of the Irish people and their global community, serving as a powerful symbol of unity and enduring strength.

Finding Luck

In the shop, I've added some very special pressed four-leaf clovers from a local Seattle woman named Alicia. After career changes due to COVID and grappling with her mother's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis, Alicia left her unsatisfying job to support her family.

Alicia turned to nature, where she found a unique form of therapy in hunting for four-leaf clovers. This simple, meditative activity not only provided her with a way to enjoy nature and cope with stress but also seemed to usher in a wave of good luck.

Over time, Alicia's fortunes improved significantly—she secured a much better job, her mother's health outlook became positive, and her overall life quality enhanced. The clovers, collected during her quest for happiness and peace, symbolize the serendipitous turn her life took, encapsulating a period of growth, healing, and newfound luck. Now, these four-leaf clovers are shared in my shop in sets of four, serving as emblems of hope, resilience, and the positive change that can emerge from life’s challenges.

With love & a little luck!

Kay
