This extraordinary rotating wheel seal features six functional seals arranged around a central engraved blue glass matrix, combining sculptural beauty with remarkable mechanical ingenuity. Each seal rotates outward individually, allowing multiple impressions to exist within a single compact object.
Among the engraved designs are forget-me-nots, Shakespeare, Sir Walter Scott, a faithful hound, a bee, a cornucopia, and other sentimental motifs, creating the feeling of a tiny portable archive. The seal originally featured 8 designs. The remnants of the 8th design can be seen on the backside.
