This delicate floral seal features a finely engraved spray of blossoms contained within a small rectangular matrix, its softened surface and intimate scale. The engraving retains a beautiful organic quality, with the flowers appearing almost sketched into the metal.

Mounted upon a bone handle, this was one of Kathryn Hastings’ earliest antique seals and appeared throughout her early collections and paintings.

This is one of the tiniest seals from Hastings' collection, and it was used to create the small pink hand-painted tassel seal on the feature cover magazine
