Historically a flower border framed the most important pages of a manuscript, a wedding invitation, or a treasured letter. Ours does the same for whatever you seal with it: it turns an envelope into something the recipient wants to hold onto.

What kind of paper works best with a wax seal?

Sealing wax holds beautifully on quality cotton, linen, and heavier stationery papers. For thin standard envelopes, we recommend applying the seal to a small tag or ribbon that you then attach to the envelope, so the seal has a firm surface to bond with.
